Access imaginative and engaging Global Citizenship resources in a variety of ways:
* in the bookshop and resource centre, with a wide variety of books and publications for delivering Global Citizenship
* through the Resource Bank, with photos and publications to download, artefacts to borrow and schemes of work and inspirational ideas
* with RISC's own publications and resources, written by RISC's Education Team and in collaboration with other organsiations
* by downloading our free guidance leaflets, with tips and ideas for beginning to approach issues such as fair trade, or sustainability.
All of our Global Citizenship resources aim to raise global awareness, and to develop skills, attitudes and values which enable students to take action for change.
Global Citizenship means:
• Challenging stereotypes of people and places
• Focusing on similarities before differences
• Understanding diversity, locally and globally
• Thinking about futures
• Taking action
