London skal myldre med hængende haver
If you can read Danish then check out an article about the roof garden in the December 2009 issue of Haven, the glossy organic gardening magazine, p30-34.

Observer Ethical Garden Award, 2009
The roof garden made it to the last three in the Award. Although the winner was Lower Shaw Farm in Swindon, Mary and Dave did enjoy some excellent ethical nibbles and organic vodka-based cocktails at the ceremony held at the Kensington Roof Gardens, Europe's largest roof garden. The other finalist was Emma Cooper's brilliant Alternative Kitchen Garden podcast which has featured the RISC garden. All three finalists had permaculture links and the winner of the grassroots campaigner award was permaculture guru, Rob Hopkins who developed the Transition Towns blueprint.
Carrot City
The garden features in an exhibition touring Canada. Carrot City: Designing for Urban Agriculture explores the relationship of design and urban food systems as well as the impact that agricultural issues have on the design of urban spaces and buildings as society addresses the issues of a more sustainable pattern of living. Garden features in new book
The roof garden features in an excellent new book, The Edible Balcony: growing fresh produce in the heart of the city (pub Kyle Cathie, 2011 £16.99). Author Alex Mitchell studied at the Chelsea Physic Garden and writes a gardening column for the Sunday Telegraph. Drawing on examples of rooftop growing from Manhattan, through Mumbai to our own Reading oasis, the gorgeous photos will inspire readers to try out the practical projects to create edible roofscapes that feast all the senses, using sustainable materials such as worn out cycle tyres and old guttering. Highly recommended.
Mary stars in BBC's Countryfile
The garden made an apperance on the BBC's Countryfile screened on 26 July 2009. James Wong, author of the very useful Grow Your Own Drugs (recipes for herbal medicines, potions...) filmed Mary in the garden for a piece about growing food in urban areas.

London's food champion visits garden
Rosie Boycott, Chair of London Food, spoke at Finding the Plot, a conference held at RISC, organised by Sustain, the Alliance for Better Food and Farming, on 21 October. She joined a tour of the garden and wrote an article for the London Evening Standard.
