Monday Events
Normally GLOBAL is closed on Mondays, the facilities are available for private hire.

Themed Feasts take place once a month are very popular and usually sell out. If you would like to receive our monthly newsletter with details of the feasts and of other events happening here,then please email us.

To make a stylish divider for your wardrobe and a plant pot picture frame, you will need : (don't worry if you do not have everything, bring what you can andshare!) Sissors, glue plastic bottles Tape (electrical, gaffa, coloured) old picture frames
empty shoe boxes pot plants coat hangers cork tops from wine bottles, soil, old clothes
- Some ideas and anything you think you can remake into something useful.....

Wednesday is 'Quiz Night' at the Global Cafe!

Come and pit your wits against Reading's finest! Meet the new quiz masters, Bill the Magnus Magnussun of the quiz world and Tom the Bamber Gasgoine version. It's not just a quiz night, it's an evening out with like-minded people, charming & witting quizmasters, and of course beers from around the world! What more could you want. See you there!

Come along with your team, (up to six players), it's only a £1 each player. There are 5 rounds of 10 questions. Winning team wins the 'pot of money' - or, if you win put the money to a good cause!

Do you belong to a Community Group or local cause? Submit 10 questions, specific to your group or cause, to be added to the quiz, (in advance and by arrangement with Liz.) it's a great way of promoting your group and educating people about the issues affecting your group!

There are regular public events in the hall upstairs from Global some more regularly than others,

GET IN TOUCH if you would like to be included on the events mailing list. There is a constantly changing program of events.

Watch out for MONTHLY FEASTS, they ususally sell out fast, and are always a real treat.
