Reading Borough Council is bringing together local producers who live within a 30 mile radius of Reading. The goods are sold directly by the people who produce them, with all the food as fresh as possible. In addition, the stall holders will be pleased to tell the public how they grow their fruit and vegetables, or rear their animals.

The markets has been held on a regular basis since the year 2000, on Saturday morning, 9am-1pm, at the Old Cattle Market, Great Knollys Street car park. Events include family entertainment and tastings, so come for a while and discover what delights are grown locally!!
