RISC offers four rooms for hire, to voluntary and community groups at subsidised rates. The rooms can also be hired at competitive rates by public bodies, private organisations and individuals, and are suitable for conferences, training, meetings and social functions for 1 to 175 people.

The centre is also home to RISC’s World Shop where you can browse the largest selection of fair trade crafts and foods in Reading alongside environmentally friendly products and a huge range of books and teaching resources on global issues.

After a long meeting (or some serious shopping!), enjoy a well earned drink or meal in our Global Café, renowned for its great atmosphere and superb range of fair trade and organic, global drinks.

Delicious meals and snacks are provided by award-winning Tutu’s Ethiopian Table with vegan and vegetarian options available. On many evenings you will also find live music and DJs. Fully licensed bar (Tel: 0118 9583555 for information).
