 The World Shop

RISC is home to one of the UK's largest Fair Trade shops.  The shop sells all kinds of products from around the world - all sourced sustainably and ethically.  On top of our range of fairly traded crafts and food we have an extensive book and resources shop covering global issues and representing Majority World authors.

We try to stock a large variety of products so hopefully there is something for everyone!  The shop owes a large part of its success to its team of hard working volunteers (if you are interested in volunteering please get in touch).

We are a member of BAFTS (The British Association for Fair Trade Shops).  The world shop first started trading in 1987 when RISC was still at 103 London Street.  RISC then moved to 35-39 London Street and of course the shop too moved where it has grown and continues to trade today.

We have changed quite a bit since we moved to 35-39!
