Fair Trade Food
Fair Trade Food

The World Shop provides an alternate shopping experience to the supermarkets: all the food and household items are either fairly traded, or are products with minimum impact on the environment but in all cases as ethically sourced as possible.

When people think of Fair Trade they usually think of things such as tea, chocolate and coffee - which we have lots of!  However it's less widely known that you can get fairly traded olive oil, sugar, nuts and raisins, quinoa, pasta.  All of the above can be bought from our shop.

We aim to stock high quality products to show that there is no sacrifice in quality when making the switch to Fair Trade.

Household Product

The chemicals in cleaning products, from laundry liquid to hair conditioner can be, and in many cases are, harmful to the environment.  Domestic pollution causes more harm to the environment than industrial pollution.

We provide an alternative range of products that are sustainably sourced, and use natural materials.  Our products are not tested on animals and packaging is recyclable where possible.
