We offer a range of approximately one-hundred Fairtrade, organic, or locally produced food and household items. Our dispensers are filled with wholefoods, including pulses, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, cereals, pastas and rice. We also stock fresh veg, Beechwood Farm eggs, and fresh bread local artisan bakers.

Behind the counter, we sell household liquids to be dispensed into your own bottles, things like laundry liquid, washing up liquid, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. We offer a large range of Fairtrade wines, and many of the local and global drinks already available at the Cafe.

Together with the World Shop next door, we aim to provide a full weekly shopping experience to customers looking for an ethical alternative to mainstream supermarkets and the high street.

how it works

	weigh and label Weigh your empty container on the scale and attach the barcode label to your container. This label tells us the weight of the container only
	fill Fill your container with a product from the gravity dispensers or scoop bins. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it
	weigh and label Weigh the filled container again and attach the final barcode to the container to be scanned at the till
	pay at till Once you've got all you need, bring your labelled containers to the till and pay. By reusing containers you've contributed to minimising single use plastic waste!

We offer a 'like for like' households and toiletries refill service, meaning we'll refill shampoo in a shampoo bottle, washing up liquid in a washing up liquid bottle, etc. This is to prevent cross contamination and adhere to health and safety advice.

We'll only refill clean, empty bottles with a lid, and can't do half measures. We'll fill your empty bottle to the top!

Please ensure the volume of the bottle is left on (it's usually on the back label of toiletries and household liquids bottles) or has been written on the bottle.
